St. Petersburg is linked with Volga-Baltic Waterway through Neva River. 42 rivers and canals flow through the city. The coast line of the Peters lie along the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland. This makes it the most famous port city of Russia connect to every corner of the country. It is also known as The Venice of the North!

Winters are very cold in Saint Petersburg. The average temperature stays at about -8 C from December to February and reaches to the average of 25 C in the summers of June and July. Rest is the time for  pleasant spring and chilly autumn to enjoy.

Saint Petersburg is served by Pulkovo International Airport which is the second busiest airport of Russia. It connects Saint Petersburg with 128 cities in the world, including Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.

Subway train network of Saint Petersburg Metro has 67 stations and stopovers in the whole city. It is most widely used transport here that would take you to every corner of the city!
